Increase in London Chamber Certification Fees

The London Chamber of Commerce have made a small increase to their Certification Fees for 2012. Please be advised that this increase will be applied with effect from Tuesday 3rd January 2012. Changes to Costa Rica Legalisation Requirements

We have been informed by the Costa Rican Consulate that Costa Rica has joined the Hague Convention. The Embassy will no longer legalise documentation, from the 15th December legalisation is only required by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

On the 23 and 30 December the Drop off and Collection Facility in Milton Keynes will be open from 11.30am until 1.00pm. The Premium Service in London will close at 2.00pm on these days.

The Legalisation Dept at the Foreign Office in Milton Keynes now accepts postal applications only. Personal visits from both private individuals AND companies are no longer possible, however Blairs are still able to present documents in person on your behalf, due the large volume of documents which we lodge on a daily basis. This will ensure that our customers continue to enjoy the fastest and most cost-effective legalisation service available.

Arab Embassy Closures

Please be advised that the Arab Embassies will be closed at varying times during the period Monday 7th November to Friday 11th November for Id-al Adha, the actual closure will differ from Embassy to Embassy.

Please ensure that all Arab documentation which requires certification/legalisation is lodged in good time to ensure release before the closures.
