Uruguay Join the Hague Convention

As of 14th October 2012 Uruguay will join the Hague Convention, legalisation up to Apostille is sufficient, no further legalisation is required by the Embassy.

Syrian Embassy Legalisation

We have been advised by the Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic that legalisation of documents at the Embassy will no longer be available until further notice, with immediate effect.
Please note however that Certification Only of documents by the Arab-British Chamber will still be required.

Moroccan Consulate Fee Increase

The Moroccan Consulate legalisation fee has increased with immediate effect, to include the mandatory postal order fee which has just been introduced.

Increase in Postal Charges

Royal Mail has increased its postal charges with immediate effect; this will result in a slight rise in the cost of documents returned by Royal Mail Special Delivery. If you have any specific queries please do not hesitate to contact us.

Documents for Oman

The Sultanate of Oman has recently joined the Hague Apostille Convention and with immediate effect certain documents will no longer require additional legalisation at the Embassy in London. This applies to all the documents currently being submitted to the Ministry of Health for the registration of pharmaceutical companies and products (eg GMP, CPP, FSC and Price Certificates). However, shipping documentation and certain other documents will still require full Embassy legalisation. Please contact us if you need further clarification.

Increase in London Chamber Certification Fees

The London Chamber of Commerce have made a small increase to their Certification Fees for 2012. Please be advised that this increase will be applied with effect from Tuesday 3rd January 2012. Changes to Costa Rica Legalisation Requirements

We have been informed by the Costa Rican Consulate that Costa Rica has joined the Hague Convention. The Embassy will no longer legalise documentation, from the 15th December legalisation is only required by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
