In the meantime, please follow our basic guidelines:
• Give yourself plenty of time to apply for a visa
• We recommend that if you are a frequent traveller you should obtain a second passport. This would allow you to travel whilst your Russian visa application is being processed. We would be happy to assist you in obtaining the passport.
With effect from March 14th 2015, the Government of India is rolling out Biometric Data Collection for Indian Visas globally and has already implemented this in several countries. This is part of the larger IVFRT (Indian Visa and Foreigners Registration and Tracking) Programme.
